This is Charlestown, a small coastal port near St Austell. Charlestown was once in the ownership of tne Rashleigh family, a prominent local family during the 19th Century and was used as a harbour for shipping China Clay. Today its income comes from tourism and the port has been used as a location for several films and television programmes.
