Mid Cornwall Gallery - Ref: 06222 - Porth Joke
This image was taken at Porth Joke, also known as Polly Joke, which is located to the west of Newquay on the northern coast. I was on a walk from Crantock to Kellan Head and as I crossed a wooden bridge over a boggy area I looked towards the beach and spotted this scene. A heavy rain cloud had just passed overhead followed by sunlight breaking through the clouds. I like the effect of the dark clouds and sunlight on the headland.
