Mid Cornwall Gallery - Ref: 12704 - Walk through Polkerris Wood
Polkerris Woods is situated above Polkerris on the cliffpath to Gribbin Head. This image was taken in May and the floor of the wood was covered in Ramsons, also known as Wild Garlic. The air was filled with a pungent onion aroma, not enough to make your eyes water, but distinct and very evocative, so much so that whenever I look at the images from this shoot I can clearly recall that odour.
