Mawgan Porth is situated about 5 miles north-east of Newquay. This image was taken on a bitterly cold December day from the coastalpath and is a view of Trenance Point. It is about half an hour before sunset and the low sun has started to tinge the clouds with gorgeous shades of orange, which is echoed in the stubble in the foreground.
