Miscellaneous Gallery - Ref: 08619 - Ox-Eye Daisy Close-Up
One of the difficulties of taking images of wildflowers in the outdoors is finding a quality secimen. If the plants have been in flower for a while then they will have suferred a battering from the elements. I found this almost perfect specimen in a hedgerow near Crackington Haven, though the Ox-eye daisy can be found all over the southwest This is a flower about 2 inches in diameter with a bright yellow centre and in order to reveal the intricacy of the flower centre I got in close with my macro lens so the flower filled the frame.
