North Cornwall Gallery - Ref: 14912 - Bedruthan Steps from Park Head

Many people are familiar with the view from the south end of Bedruthan Steps, but I thought I would try a different angle here. To get to this viewpoint I travelled through Porthcothan and after about 2 miles there is a turning on your right for Pentire Farm. At the top of the road there is a small National Trust car park from which you can gain access to the coastal footpath. It is about a mile walk to the viewpoint along a level track. I was looking out for some thrift on the cliff edge to provide foreground interest and came across this clump. The thrift had already reached its peak here but there was still a reasonable spread for me to accomplish what I had visualized.
